A special time to celebrate what God has done through missions in our church. We’ll begin with a missions parade, where all the ministries we support will be represented. There will be times of worship, special presentations, and an inspiring message from a guest speaker, who will open our hearts to God’s work among the nations.
Guest Speaker
Chris Dixon is the Senior Pastor of First Bentonville in Northwest Arkansas, a vibrant church located in the heart of downtown with a mission to reach out to its neighbors and the nations with the good news of Jesus. With over 25 years of experience in ministry, Pastor Chris has a deep passion for helping people come to know Christ, grow in spiritual maturity, and transform their communities through the gospel. Before coming to Bentonville, he pastored Liberty Church in Dublin, Georgia, where God transformed a congregation of fewer than 50 people into a thriving church with over 1,300 attendees and more than a thousand baptisms. Pastor Chris and his wife, Amy, have three adult children, all serving the Lord, and three grandchildren.
Missions Banquet – Saturday – 6:00 PM
(Childcare and translation services available)
A gala evening dedicated to celebrating missionary work and standing in solidarity with our missionaries and the work they do both locally and globally. The event will feature a delicious dinner, a special worship segment, a Q&A session with special guests, and will also provide an opportunity to support missionary projects that have the power to transform the lives of many families, for the glory of God.
Closing Service – Sunday Morning – 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM
Free admission (Childcare and translation services available)
This is the closing service of our Celebration, featuring worship, special performances, and a guest speaker. This service is the highlight of the weekend, where we come together to commit ourselves to continuing to participate in God’s mission—praying, going out, and giving—so that the light and love of Jesus may reach every family on earth, until everyone hears about Him.
